Op 12 januari 2026 wordt het burgerinitiatief aangeboden aan de gemeente. De petitie blijft doorlopen. Wij willen handtekeningen blijven verzamelen en merken dat er nu ook getekend wordt vanuit Frankrijk, Engeland, en Schorland. Heb je contacten in Amerika en Canada verspreid dan deze petitie.
In de gemeente Son en Breugel is er door de gemeenteraad een motie aangenomen om het monument van de baileybrug en de plaatsing er van te bespreken. Dit zal in het nieuwe jaar gebeuren.
Er is gelukkig nog steeds te zien dat er getekend wordt. Maar onze nadruk ligt nu echt op de volgende vraag.

Allemaal bedankt voor het ondertekenen. Ik heb besloten de petitie in te trekken. Dinsdag 16 december is in de Tweede Kamer al een petitie over LongCovid ingediend, hiermee is de aandacht voor mensen met een PAIS hopelijk weer even op scherp gezet.
Mocht het volgende kabinet opnieuw de fout maken om zorg voor mensen met een PAIS te negeren, dan kan er alsnog een petitie worden aangemaakt.

In reactie op deze petitie is de portefeuillehouder in het stadsdeel al op de hoogte gebracht en die heeft toegezegd zo snel mogelijk een schouw te organiseren. Dat betekent dat men ter plekke komt kijken.
