NPRD informatiebijeenkomst over uitbreiding Weerterheide Op donderdag 23 januari organiseert Defensie een informatiebijeenkomst om in gesprek te gaan over de behoefte voor het uitbreiden van oefengebied de Weerterheide.
Onze krijgsmacht groeit. Dat is nodig om ons land te kunnen verdedigen. Nu, en in de toekomst. Daarvoor is ruimte nodig. Om te oefenen, voor munitieopslag en om bondgenoten door Nederland te verplaatsen. Hiervoor onderzoeken wij een aantal locaties in Nederland. Het oefenterrein Weerterheide in Weert en Cranendonck is één van de locaties waarvan Defensie onderzoekt of deze uitgebreid kan worden. In deze brief vindt u een kaart van het oefenterrein en de mogelijke uitbreidingsrichtingen. Ook ligt op het oefenterrein Weerterheide één van de mogelijke locaties voor een nieuw oefendorp.
Oefenterrein Weerterheide Het huidige oefenterrein op de Weerterheide is een belangrijke plek voor Defensie om te kunnen trainen. Door modernere middelen en een andere manier van oorlogsvoering is het huidige terrein te klein om alle activiteiten te kunnen beoefenen, omdat deze bijvoorbeeld in groter groepsverband plaatsvinden. Daarvoor onderzoekt Defensie mogelijke uitbreiding op een aantal plekken rondom het huidige oefenterrein Weerterheide. Ook heeft Defensie meer oefengebied nodig om te kunnen trainen in verstedelijkt gebied. Een van de mogelijke locaties voor de komst van dit oefendorp ligt op het oefenterrein Weerterheide. Daarbij wordt de impact op de leefomgeving in relatie tot deze plekken, ook goed bekeken.
We beseffen dat de impact voor u mogelijk groot kan zijn, als deze locatie gekozen wordt. Daarom willen we u zo goed mogelijk informeren over het onderzoek.
Wat betekent dit voor u? Op 23 januari organiseert Defensie een informatiebijeenkomst in uw regio. Wij informeren u over het onderzoeksgebied en u kunt met ons in gesprek gaan.
Om wat voor onderzoek gaat het? Het onderzoek naar meer ruimte voor Defensie startte in december 2023. Dit noemen we het Nationaal Programma Ruimte voor Defensie (NPRD). Op de plannen van Defensie mochten alle personen die ermee te maken kregen, een reactie geven. Zo’n reactie noemen we een zienswijze. In totaal zijn er 2.200 zienswijzen bij Defensie binnengekomen. In juni en juli 2024 organiseerden we informatiebijeenkomsten in alle provincies van Nederland. Iedereen die meer wilde weten over de plannen of vragen had aan Defensie, kon daar bij aanwezig zijn. Eind augustus kwam de ‘Nota van Reactie’ uit. In dat document staat precies wat Defensie tijdens deze bijeenkomsten heeft opgehaald. Maar ook wat Defensie daarmee gaat doen.
Hoe nu verder? Defensie weet dat de vraag naar ruimte in Nederland groot is, en dat er weinig ruimte beschikbaar is. Denk aan woningbouw, landbouw, energietransitie en natuur. Defensie bekijkt goed welke beslissing het beste is voor Nederland. Aan het einde van het eerste kwartaal van 2025 wordt het onderzoek naar de geschikte locaties van alle ruimtebehoeften afgerond. Dan publiceert Defensie het ontwerp Nationale Beleidsvisie Ruimte voor Defensie. Het onderzoek is daar een onderdeel van. Deze kunt u dan inkijken. Als u dat wilt, is het dan mogelijk om (opnieuw) een zienswijze in te dienen. Dat kan over de resultaten van het onderzoek, maar ook over de door het kabinet vastgestelde voorkeurslocatie. De beslissing over de uiteindelijke verdeling van ruimte in Nederland ligt bij het kabinet en wordt uitgewerkt in de landelijke Nota Ruimte voor Defensie. I have received the 25 euros which are necessary to start a case at the Huurcommissie (rent tribunal) thanks to our generous residents.
Here is the plan ....
I will send the manager this week Thursday an email to request a meeting. The chance that he will refuse is extremely high. And if we do meet (a miracle), I believe he won't come with detailed promises and solutions. Then, it is time to start a case at the rent commission (Huurcomissie).
I believe that one month is more than enough to come up with information/ideas/solutions.

Nog altijd heeft de politie Haaglanden nog geen onderzoek ingesteld en is noch met een verklaring gekomen voor het buitensporige politiegeweld tijdens de verschillende demonstraties in Den Haag. Een ieder heeft gezien hoe 'romeo's' uit een busje zijn gesprongen om onschuldige burgers te mishandelen.
De aangiftes tegen deze agenten in burger worden niet in behandeling genomen! Wat Viruswaarheid betreft is dit een schande voor de politie in Nederland en voor de politie Haaglanden in het bijzonder. Wij eisen een onafhankelijk onderzoek. Help ons naar 40.000 handtekeningen.
First update on the heat problem.
I had a meeting with the manager on the 19th of August. I have handed over the written petitions and the online petitions.
I have explained the problem to the manager as well.
The manager told me that Greystar is 'investigating' the possible options to prevent extreme heat in the apartments. He could not, or did not want to, give me adequate answers to questions like: "what options are you investigating?", "when will this investigation be finished?", "can we expact information by mail regarding the status of the investigation", etc.
I called the Juridisch Loket and asked them how long i should wait for this 'investigation' to be finished. They recommended me to wait 10 days.
On the 3rd of Semtember, I send a reminder to the manager and asked him whether he can give me more information about the investigation. His replied that the investigation had not started yet because of the summer vacation. And again he could not give me more information.
I have decided that the 19th of September will be the last day for the manager to come up with adequate solutions and answers. I will write the manager an email on the 18th and ask for a second meeting. If the manager refuses or can not give me more information, then I will start a case at the Huurcomissie (rent comission). As you probably know hundreds of signed petitions have been offered on the 19th of August to the management of OurCampus which were ought to make our claim known for a long-term solution to the heat problem.
Prior to the delivery of the signed petitions OurCampus communicated that they started an investigation to the possibilities. To this very day there isn’t any conclusion known, let alone an interim result.
This makes that I am determined to start a case at the Huurcommissie (Rent Tribunal), this is an impartial organisation that helps tenants and landlords by mediating with conflicts or if necessary, setting the conflict formally by making a ruling that is binding on both parties.
To start a case at the Huurcommisie, we as tenants, need to pay a fee of € 25. I would like to ask you to gather this relative small amount of money so that I can start a case in the name of the tenants. If everybody pays € 0.50 then the fee is already paid 20 times! I tried to create a GoFundMe page for € 25 but potential donators are forced to donate at least € 5 and I think that is too much to ask. Therefore, I suggest that you guys donate a sum by depositing it in my mailbox 1341, in building 1. I will only start a case whenever I have collected the 25 euros.
If we win the case at the Huurcommissie, they will return the € 25. In that case I transfer the money to a charity, Dierenambulance Amsterdam (pet ambulance Amsterdam)

De petitie is gisteren overhandigd aan zowel de wethouder als aan de gemeenteraad.
De wethouder heeft in elk geval aangegeven dat het besluittermijn inmiddels is vertraagd omdat adviserende instanties aanvullende informatie hebben opgevraagd en onderzoeken nog lopen..
