Smallsteps Childcare recently wrote: "We intend to take over the English pre-school from Partou. With the same programme your toddler is used to. The groups remain the same and the pedagogical staff member stays as well. We will also continue to follow the standards of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), with which we connect with the teaching, development and care in the United Kingdom."

Dear signatories of this petition, I would like to thank each and every one of you. It was our strength and our commitment together that made possible the continuity of the English pre-school in Almere.

Het recht op gezond wonen is een fundamenteel mensenrecht dat inhoudt dat iedereen recht heeft op een veilige, gezonde en waardige plek om te leven, met voldoende voorzieningen en een gezonde omgeving (schone lucht, water, etc.). Hoewel de VN dit erkent als mensenrecht, ligt de focus in Nederland op de verplichting van de overheid om dit te waarborgen via beleid, regelgeving (zoals de Omgevingswet) en het faciliteren van een gezonde leefomgeving (binnen en buiten), met oog voor luchtkwaliteit, temperatuur, daglicht en afwezigheid van overlast.
