Via de Politieke Markt van 28 mei 2019 heeft raadslid H. Buyatui van de fractie Buyatui de vraag over een Go-abonnement in termijnen gesteld aan het college, schriftelijk al op 1 april. Het antwoord van de wethouder kwam per brief op 29 juli 2019:
In meerdere termijnen betalen is wenselijk en dit is eerder met Keolis besproken. Almere heeft het Go Jongerenabonnement niet als eis opgenomen in de aanbesteding. Over de mogelijkheid om het Go Jongerenabonnement in meerdere termijnen te betalen is Almere in overleg en Keolis staat ervoor open te werken aan een passende oplossing. Maar dat lukt niet voor de start van het schooljaar 2019-2020.

De petitie is overhandigd aan de Tweede Kamerleden die over sport gaan. Hart van Nederland was erbij vanuit de Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht en de NOS was er online bij.
