Wageningen University & Research: lower thermostat to 19 degrees
The campaign of the central government stimulates everyone to turn the thermostat two degrees lower. The UU, UvA, RU & InHolland, among others, are already participating. The WUR is one of the greenest universities, but has not yet made the switch. The WUR should join, sign the petition!

We are concerned people who would like the WUR to participate in the Flip the Switch too campaign.
establish that:
- We noticed that gas and electricity have become more expensive.
- The Netherlands must become less dependent on gas from Russia.
And we must combat climate change.
It is therefore important that we save more energy.
The government has launched a national campaign 'Flip the Switch'.
The campaign offers practical tips to help save energy. Already many schools have lowered their thermostat (e.g. UU, RU, UvA and Hogeschool InHolland).
The government urges Dutch companies and entrepreneurs to participate by, for example, saving energy on lighting, heating and/or ventilation of business premises.

the WUR to take part in this. Right now, you can adjust the temperature to 21 degrees in classrooms and study areas. We want to change that to a maximum of 19 degrees, 2 degrees lower than before.
