residents of Hyde Park, Hoofddorp, affected by the current location and management of the waste bins.

establish that:

• the temporary waste containers are located extremely close to residential entrances.
• waste bags are repeatedly left on the ground around the containers,
• this causes unpleasant smells, hygiene problems and attracts rats.
• despite repeated reports, the situation continues.
• the current location, capacity and/or collection frequency are clearly not adequate for the number of residents using these containers.

and request

to provide a structural solution:

• relocate the waste containers farther away from residential entrances,
• review and increase collection frequency and/or capacity where necessary,
• install clear signage prohibiting waste being left on the ground, and
• consider physical measures around the containers to discourage bags from being placed beside them.
