Save Groningen City Beach

Residents and visitors of Groningen who want to save Groningen City Beach

establish that:

• Groningen City Beach must make way for plans from the municipality, RUG, and UMCG, being replaced by a small square without a beach.
• This is a bad idea, as there are already too few refreshing swimming spots in Groningen, just like there are too few recreational areas.
• The City Beach and Noorderplantsoen are already overcrowded in the summer.
• The City Beach is a valued part of Groningen that should be preserved and preferably expanded.
