Together with 3x3 Unites, we are asking the municipality to renovate the basketball court at Tabithaplein. The court is outdated and the hoops are set at incorrect heights, making fair games and proper training impossible. It's time to give the community the basketball court it deserves.
Local basketball players, residents, youth, and sports enthusiasts.
The Tabithaplein basketball court was once a vibrant place where players from across the city came together to play, connect, and build a community. Over time, the outdated court and incorrect hoop heights have made it difficult to play properly, causing many players to stop coming. With this renovation, we want to bring back the energy, connection, and basketball culture that made this court special.
We ask the municipality to fully renovate the basketball court as soon as possible. This includes new hoops at the correct height, proper court size, clear court markings, and a safe, high-quality surface. A renewed court will remain an accessible and welcoming sports and meeting place for the many young people and residents who use it every week. It will help the community grow and prevent players from leaving due to the current poor condition.
