British tourists make the second single biggest contribution to the Dutch tourism economy. Accounting for 38.3 per cent of all incoming tourists, their contribution to Netherlands GDP is estimated at €12.4 billion.
But since 1 January 2021 they can only visit the Netherlands visa-free for 90 days in any 180, whereas Dutch tourists are allowed up to 180 days when visiting the UK.
Let's give them a fair deal if we want to keep them coming! This is beneficial for the Netherlands economy and does not cost us anything. Naturally, this only applies once the Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted.
