Equality in clothing at Hotelschool the Hague

13 signatures

At HTH we have to wear a suit at work. Women and men are not allowed to wear the same. On top of that non-binary people should have the freedom to choose the outfit for either men or women or something in between. I think in 2021 we should be able to choose our clothing, do you agree? We

students and supporters

establish that:

  • Women can’t wear laces, while men have to.
  • Women have to buy a skirt, while men are not allowed to.
  • Women wear a scarf and men a tie.
  • No one can have loose hair, have a beard or mustache, show their tattoos, wear more than one ring, have a piercing.
  • This is old-fashioned, we should look forward, be a progressive school, where everyone can feel at ease, where we can be diverse and show our diversity.

and request

For more equality in general, but more specific when choosing our outfit, we should be able to wear what we want to wear (while off course choosing from a selected suit).
