Festivalgangers, Men is van plan het historisch (sinds 1975) ontstane jaarlijkse festival in Amsterdam Zuidoost te stoppen. Het staat in de top 5 qua bezoekersaantal in Nederland met gemiddeld 300.000 bezoekers. Multicultureel, exotisch eten, muziek, gezellig dus... Waarom stoppen?
Actiegroep KwakuMusTang, bij gelegenheid ontstaan, streeft behoud van dit festival na. Dat wil zeggen ook na 2027.

actiegroep KwakuMusTang (KMT), kwaku-gangers, medestanders
establish that:
- het Kwaku-festival sinds 1975 jaarlijks in Amsterdam Zuidoost is gehouden;
- het vanaf 2027 zal ophouden te bestaan volgens berichten in de media;
- dit cultuurhistorisch gezien een gemis voor Nederland zou zijn

dit jaarlijkse multiculturele festival met een hoog cultuurhistorisch karakter te behouden!
