We

residents of Amsterdam and the Netherlands, of all ages, backgrounds, professions and walks of life

establish that:

• Warren's contribution to Amsterdam goes far beyond his flower bikes. When the city itself turned to him, he brought life and joy back to the streets of Amsterdam-West;
• he has supported homeless people. Deporting him would be a direct blow to Amsterdam and its residents;
• his wife Michelle has severe, worsening epilepsy;
• Dutch healthcare has twice saved her life, and the treatment she needs is not accessible to her in the US.

and request

• the Minister for Asylum and Migration to order an urgent, full reconsideration of Warren's case, to assess all circumstances together,
• to use every lawful route available to allow Warren and Michelle to remain in the Netherlands, and
• to halt his removal until that process is complete;
• the Tweede Kamer to use its parliamentary powers to press for that reconsideration;
• and Amsterdam's mayor, executive board and city council to publicly defend Warren and press the national government to let him stay.
