We, the networkgroup Migrant Mother and Child and Godian Ejiogu, demand the release of Queen C. Nwaebi, a single mother of two children, who is in jail for 2 months for possessing a false passport. She is an admitted victim of human trafficking and received the fake passport from her trafficker without knowing the document was false.

We, the formantioned organsiations, state that the imprisonment of this woman is injustice. She received an unusual severe punishment because her lawyer did not show up on the judgement. She could not possibly be there because she was delivering her second child. Her lawyer failed tot lodge an appeal and the case was closed. Our legal system failed and Mrs. Nwaebi is a double victim and her children too. Please help to release her.
We demand the immediate release of Queen Clara Nwaebi so she can be reunited as soon as possible with her children. In the meantime we want a visitors arrangement that allows for as much contact between mother and children as possible.
