We call on the United Nations to support the Iranian people in their demand for an end to the current regime and a peaceful transition to a democratic system that respects human rights and allows all religions and communities to live together in freedom and dignity.

We, persians and supporters of democracy and human rights,

 

constateren dat:

  • Iran is experiencing serious and widespread human rights violations, including violence against civilians, mass arrests, internet restrictions, and the denial of fair judicial procedures.
  • many people live in fear and do not feel safe in daily life.
  • a large part of the population is calling for an end to the current regime and a peaceful transition to democracy.

 

en verzoeken

  • respectfully urge the United Nations to increase diplomatic pressure to stop violence, protect human rights, and
  • support a peaceful transition away from the current regime toward democratic governance based on the rule of law.
  • engagement with democratic representatives of the Iranian people, including Prince Reza Pahlavi, who is regarded by many as a symbol of national unity and democratic transition.

Petition launched to support democratic change in Iran

This petition has been launched to call on the United Nations to take stronger action in response to the ongoing human rights crisis in Iran. We invite all supporters of democracy, human rights, and peaceful change to sign and share this petition in solidarity with the Iranian people.

We respectfully urge the United Nations to increase diplomatic pressure to stop violence, protect human rights, and support a peaceful transition away from the current regime toward democratic governance based on the rule of law. We further request engagement with Prince Reza Pahlavi, who is widely regarded by many Iranians as the leading figure of the democratic opposition and a symbol of national unity and peaceful transition.
