The lack of sufficient access to the workshops affects both students. The overwhelming demand during this period creates scheduling bottlenecks and strains the workshop keepers, leading to overcrowded spaces, reduced productivity, and frustration for everyone involved.

Due to the extensive introductions and orientations during the first weeks, students are finding it increasingly difficult to work freely in these workshops. This limitation not only affects our ability to complete coursework and personal projects but also disrupts the flow of creative and practical development that is essential to our learning experience.

To address this, we request that the department either reduces the amount of introductory sessions or implement a more consistent schedule. For example, holding introductions during the morning hours and allowing students to access the workshops freely after lunch would create a balanced approach. This would give us the ability to better plan our worktime, ensuring that students can make progress on their tasks without losing valuable time.
