The objective here is to create recognisable, safe school surroundings and increase the satisfaction with road safety in ISU school areas among children, their parents and teachers.

Children in particular are a vulnerable group in road traffic and need safety. In practice the surroundings of the school is not sufficiently safe and recognizable for road users.
Road safety of schoolchildren is a shared responsibility of the city, the schools, the children and their parents. School and parents are taking measures but further actions are expected to be implemented by the municipality for speed limit and traffic lights.
