St. de Helena wil gebouw De Helena behouden voor de gemeenschap en zo exploiteren dat het blijvend betaalbaar en beschikbaar blijft voor Haagse culturele en maatschappelijke doeleinden. Wij steunen dit en vinden het belangrijk dat het concept blijft uitnodigen tot samenwerking en kruisbestuiving. Wij steunen dat en dragen daar graag ons steentje aan bij.

Haagse stadmakers, (buurt)bewoners, kunstenaars, ondernemers, culturele en maatschappelijke partijen

constateren dat:

juist in deze tijd waarin tegenstellingen centraal staan, we in bubbels leven en het korte termijn-denken dominant is, er behoefte aan de non-profit aanpak van Stichting de Helena is.
De Helena gericht op duurzame verbinding en transitie in de stad, bottum-up vormgegeven.
de Helena behouden moet blijven voor Den Haag, de buurt en de regio.

ons plan te omarmen, te supporten en mogelijk te maken zodat de Helena non-profit beschikbaar en toegankelijk blijft voor Haagse culturele en maatschappelijke doeleinden.

The De Helena Foundation wants to preserve the building De Helena for the community and operate it in a way that ensures it remains permanently affordable and accessible for cultural and social purposes in The Hague. We support this and believe it is important that the concept continues to invite collaboration and cross-pollination.

We City-makers of The Hague, (local) residents, artists, entrepreneurs, and cultural and social organizations

observe that: * especially in these times of polarization, social bubbles, and short-term thinking, there is a strong need for the non-profit approach of Stichting De Helena * De Helena is focused on sustainable connection and urban transition, shaped from the bottom up * De Helena should be preserved for The Hague, its neighborhoods, and the wider region

and request: that our plan be embraced, supported, and enabled so that De Helena remains a non-profit space that is accessible and available for cultural and social purposes in The Hague.
